The decorated box shown brightly in his gloved hands. Nero looked at it, a bit amused. It was a very beautiful box, and he was amazed that chinese man had sold it to him. Slowly, he began to move his finger around the large bronze circle, the largest of the circles on the box. A small smile crossed his face, becoming darker and more amused. He didn't hear the mournful toll of the bell, didn't see the flickering of the lights. His mind was only on one thing: Solving the damned puzzle. He was bored, having not one job for a week. Of course, that was to be expected, but still... He watched, amazed, believing that he had solved the puzzle, watching as it reshaped itself, turning, and sliding into a new form. He couldn't describe it, he really couldn't. He tilted his head to the side, not even bothering to look as the walls creaked open, the Cenobites step out, nor the man with pins on his head. He was amazed. Realization etched into his face and he turned slowly, coming face to face with the Cenobites. "Bloody Hell...." He muttered.... |
